MEME Chianti Riserva comes from the best grapes present in the best parcels of the company’s historic vineyards, which are around 60 years old. This provides the grapes with a longer maceration time, with the goal of achieving a more concentrated Sangiovese with a long life span. Its more concentrated profile requires longer ageing in cement and large barrels, as well as months of ageing in the bottle. It is only produced during the best vintages.
