Vistalba Corte B 2018

A blend from one of Argentina’s best producers, this Malbec/Cabernet Suavignon is round, lush and velvety with textured tannins that carry layers of plum sauce, crushed currants, figs and dark liquorice notes. There’s a hefty finish that shows its real prowess. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are cooled and then placed in concrete fermenters where, after about three days of maceration, fermentation begins. It is then aged for twelve months in French, medium-toasted oak barrels. A truly great expression of the best Argentinian Malbec.
