Tornicola Negroamaro Salento 2016

Negroamaro is the King of the Salento peninsula as it’s indigenous to the region. The name literally translates as ‘black and bitter’. On the palate, you get a hit of bitterness in the pure, dark chocolate sense, but the overall flavour is dry, not sweet. Think Ovaltinies, spice, and red fruit. A structured, age-worthy red.
