Leonardo Nero d’Avola Blend- From Sunday Winemakers

New big Italian blend from the From Sunday Winemakers team! Made from mostly (70%) Nero d’Avola, with the remaining portion being made up of Aglianico and Dolcetto. Notes black plumb and black cherry are balanced beautifully with spice/dried herb, and savoury notes, all supported by a soft but structured tannin backbone. Very rounded and silky thanks to the Nero component spending 12 months in french oak, and the rest with some time in old oak. Beautiful to drink now, or to throw in a dark corner somewhere for the next 10 years.
