Lansdowne Valley Chardonnay

Winemaker notes:

Hand-picked organic chardonnay from Block 2 and 11. The majority was crushed to ferment on skins until nearly dry, with the remaining pressed directly to ferment and later combined. Unfined, unfiltered and minimal sulphur.

Since converting to organics we wanted to make a chardonnay that was a pure expression of the vineyard – one without oak. This is a decisive wine for us, it’s effectively our clean slate.
