Nestled in Montelupo Fiorentino just north of the Classico region, winemaker Monica Rossetti & Emanuale Pellegrini apply a progressive approach to work in harmony with nature and to best reflect their estate, and Tuscan tradition, in bottle.
Emanuele’s family have owned the Fattoria di Petrognano estate since 1963, which covers 85 hectares consisting of 25 hectares of certified organic vineyards where soil and microclimate analysis data are used to best represent the Sangiovese.
The Chianti wines are the heart of the winery, produced with only local varieties Sangiovese & Canaiolo and bearing Emanuele’s grandfather’s nickname, Meme.
