Kennedy - 'Pink Hills' Mourvédre Rosé - 2018
The grapes were picked in early April when fruit was ripe with good flavour and attractive natural acidity. In the winery the fruit was whole bunch pressed to old French oak barrels and allowed to ferment wild. The wine was matured in these barrels until it was ready to be bottled in September 2017. A stelvin closure is used to seal this wine.
The Pink Hills Rosé is pale salmon in colour with aromas of fresh summer berries, orange blossom and hints of crunchy red apple. The palate exhibits attractive red berry and citrus flavours along with a subtle textural component and lively acidity, making this the perfect drink for the warmer months.
