This Cabernet Sauvignon from the Lansdowne Vineyard comes from one of the slowest ripening sites in the Adelaide Hills. It has a beautiful Mediterranean climate with cold wet winters, warm dry summers and lengthy autumns. This forms aromas of cassis and blackberries with a palate of red liquorice fruit, bell peppers and freshly turned earth
The whole berries are open-top fermented and left on skins for 13 days, matured in old French oak for 18 months and then bottle-aged six months prior to release.
