Come join us at Upstairs Wines Ettalong for an evening of out of this world whisky from the award winning independent bottler That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Our very first whisky tasting will be hosted by Simon McGoram, Boutique-y's Asia Pacific sales manager, whisky nerd and Central Coast local. This tasting will fittingly showcase five craft whiskies (and one rum) from Boutique-y's Wine Cask Series.

The lineup includes a French single malt from Amorik aged in a Sauternes cask, Madeiran rum aged in an Amarone cask and a very special 18 year old New Zealand whisky aged in a pinot noir cask. There's only a handful of each release that has made it to Australian shores so we're very excited to be able to show these to you in store!

An incredible Pinot Meunier from @somoswines that likes to disappear from our shelves quickly. Expect a light, bright and crunchy wine, with lots of fragrant red cherry. This whole bunch ferment wine also goes through fully wild carbonic maceration, resulting in that classic but subtle cola-like flavour.

This Saturday 21st May, from 1pm-3pm, we are lucky enough to have the dynamic duo from @whitegatewineco in our Ettalong store for you to meet, taste and chat all things @whitegatewineco wines!

Chad and Gee are a passionate, progressive husband and wife duo producing small batches of wine in the Barossa Valley. They aim to showcase the Barossa in a new light with balanced and fresh wines inspired by the likes of Beaujolais and Burgundy and with their delicious Syrah being your favourite wine throughout the month of April, we know this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss!

Dinny Goonan is a small winery taking pride in producing beautiful, award-winning wines from estate grown fruit. We love these guys not only because of their beautiful wines, but because they operate their winery using environmental and sustainable practices! Their first vines were planted back in the 1980's and are still pruned and picked exclusively by hand to this day, producing a range of tasty wines.
