From Bodega Vistalba, this Torrontes is also known as “the liar” in its native Argentina, for its misleading nose. Coming from the high altitude vineyards of Salta (over 3000m), this super-dry white smells like a Gewürztraminer or a sweet wine with huge floral aromas. But to taste, is actually bone dry. It has to be tasted to be believed. Best served chilled with a cheese platter.
