The Friuli - Venezia Giulia region is the best region for white wines in Italy and Fruiliano is the local hero. The grape is Indigenous to the region. The perfect acompianaent to cured meats which are the areas specialty especially San Daniele Proscuitto which is the areas most famous export. Combination of sweet and salty meat with fruity then minerally wine, perfect! Intense, fine and complex. Distinctly minerally with elegant aromatic overtones. Ample freshness and tanginess, whilst the finish accompanies a light bitter almond taste identifying the peculiarity of the wine variety.
Winemaking: 100% Friulano. Handpicked from 20-30 year old vines. The grapes are destemmed and macerated in temperature controlled vats at 4 degress C to preserve fruit flavors. Racked and further aged on lees until bottling.
