GRAPE VARIETY: Monovarietal Franconia.
AGE OF THE VINES: 25 years.
SOIL: Hilly, clayey, made up of layers of marl and sandstone of Eocene origin.
VINEYARDS SET UP: Vines are trained using the double arched cane system, 4500/5000 of vines per hectare.
HARVEST SYSTEM: Manual.
WINEMAKING: Destemming and maceration for 8 days at a temperature of not more than 26°C. Followed by de-vatting and soft pressing of the pomace. This is followed by racking and an evolution period until bottling.
FURTHER DATA: alc. Vol. 12,5%; total acidity 4,5 gr/lt; non-reducing extract 23; residual sugar 39 gr/lt.
TASTING NOTES: Red ruby colour. In the nose is very intense and persistent with nice red fruit aromas. The taste is soft, full and harmonic.
BEST WITH: It accompanies white, spicy meats to dried pastries well.
SUGGESTED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14°-16°C
