Corte, from the Spanish to cut or bIend is a unique combination of the smooth and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon added to enliven the spicy Malbec.

Style: rich textured and full bodied.
Varieties: 78% Malbec, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Bonarda.
Colour: Violet red colour.
Nose: Intense aroma of red and dried fruits. Notes of eucalyptus with an interesting evolution once in the glass.
Palate: In the mouth it has a sweet feeling of soft and round tannins with a balanced and long finish.
Winemaking: This wine is 20% aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Then, bottled and kept in storage for 6months before it is released into the market. All grapes are hand harvested from old vines, most planted around 1948. Vineyards sit 950m above sea level and good climatic conditions allow the winery to maintain vineyards almost naturally with almost no fitosanitary treatment. During the vegetative season there is a difference of temperature between day and night of 15C allowing for excellent colour and tannin development.
Soil: Sandy loam with limestone channels. Low to medium fertility with low percentage of organic material.
