Luckys Syrah/Pinot Noir
Born at the back of a science lab at CSU, wine enterprises is the vehicle for three young Aussie winemakers to show their love of experimentation and fun. Inspired by those whom in mastering their craft created whole new styles. Those like Dali, Huxley and Bruce Lee. Armed with degrees in wine science, viticulture and a deep respect for the past, the guiding principal is a less is more attitude with a focus on exploration and possibility with no set style, pattern or mold. Wines are fermented using indigenous yeasts, no enzymes, no additions no fining and minimal sulfites.
A blend of two of the world’s great varietals. The idea is balance. Strength and Vibrancy. Yin and Yang. Whilst this combination is fairly unusual, it is an old staple of the Hunter Valley of NSW. It perfectly highlights the areas supple Shiraz with fine, silky tannins and adds lifted aromatics and fresh acidity from the Pinot Noir for a beautifully balanced wine.
