CLO - Revee Chardonnay - 2015
Tumbarumba, New South Wales
A pretty serious little Chardonnay from one of our favourite high-altitude regions in Australia. Complex, citrusy, stonefruity, with a bit of ginger spice. Full bodied, generous and a lovely texture to finish. It was handpicked from 37-year-old vines, wholebunch pressed, fermented in barrels to allow completely natural malolactic fermentation, and finally left for two-and-a-half years on lees to mature. Don't underestimate, but do savour.
