Dievole is one of those places that makes you want to pack up and move to the Italian Country side. Flanked by forests full of truffles and wild boar. Sitting on a hill over looking the typical medieval castle town you see in movies and can't believe is real. It's pretty easy to see why everyone loves Tuscany.
The Broccato is what they call a Supertuscan meaning it's made with grapes not permitted in the DOCG. Even though it is technically classed as n IGT wine it is one of the wineries top offerings. Generous fruit with harmonious notes of cherry and raspberries, violet and lavender. Complex and well-structured with a good acidity that enhances excellent flavors of red berries, herbal notes, café and vanilla spices. Gentle and elegant tannins with a good persistence.
Decant if possible.
